After a year we had the FBI in Energoland again! However, they didn’t want to investigate anything, but rather learn more about nuclear power plants and our emergency planning and preparedness.
The students of the Faculty of Safety Engineering (In Slovak: Fakulta bezpečnostného inžinierstva – FBI) of the Žilina University study crisis management and were interested in the internal and external crisis plans to protect the employees and the population around the NPP.
And so, in addition to Energoland, we also showed them the emergency control centre in Mochovce and the nuclear unit simulators. These two centres are interconnected during emergency drills and together they handle various prepared emergency scenarios.
